There is a limited amount of booth and table space available for 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organizations and Businesses. Businesses that particpate in the event must have open positions available for hire. See Map for Booth & Table Setup.

Jesse Brown VA Medical Center Parking www.chicago.va.gov offered for free. Plus, every 30 minute shuttle bus to the Illinois Warrior Summit.
All organizations can begin loading in at 7:30am. Please be sure to remember that there are 170 other organizations also loading in as well. Please try not to come 10 min before the event starts. Thank you!
The University of Illinois at Chicago Veterans Student Association and Student Veterans of America will be hosting the Illinois Warrior Summit & 3rd Annual Welcome Home Celebration on April 24, 2010 from 9am-4pm at the UIC Forum (25,000 sq ft). The UIC Forum is located at 725 W. Roosevelt Road in Chicago, IL 60607. An event of this magnitude has never been done before so let’s welcome home the troops that served our country and get them the benefits and job opportunities they deserve.
We will have:
*Raffle prizes and other free giveaways
(Including 7 Day FREE Vacation & Sporting Event tickets)
*Free food and refreshments all day
*Bag Pipes and Drums CPD
*Color Guard Presentation
*Military Taps by COL Tom Day
*Magic Show performace
*Entertainment w/ LIVE ROCK BANDS!
*Free massages
*Children’s play facilities w/ Jumbo Moon Bounce
(Face painting, balloons, clowns, magic shows)
*Over 20 universities in attendance
*Over 100 Veterans organizations that provide services and opportunities for veterans
*Over 50 employers providing job opportunities w/ interview capabilities
*GI Bill and Post 9/11 education workshops
*Yellow Ribbon Program workshops
*Resume building workshops
*Job Interview workshops
*On-site registration for IDES (Unemployment)
*VA Home loan workshops
*VA health care representatives providing on-site registration
*Health & Wellness benefit workshops
*On-Site physicals and examinations
